I remember as a little girl dreaming of growing up to become a princess. I kissed a couple frogs in the process of learning that I may not be cut out for the challenge. Then proceeded to go through phases ranging from aspiring actress to sensational singer, to activist artist, to the athletic, soccer-all-star tomboy, to eventually finding myself here. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the process it’s that the future is just a wee bit unpredictable for a three-year-old.

But that’s what makes it exciting. Here’s to making what’s left this time count!
